Get started
Build your first portfolio from a document or a short manual setup, then review the data before entering MrMoney.ai.
What it does
Onboarding creates the minimum structure you need to use MrMoney.ai: an institution, an account and a portfolio.
You can upload one or more broker files first. MrMoney.ai processes each file and shows the positions and transactions it found before you continue. The detected institution, account and currency can prefill the setup, but you confirm the names and portfolio details. If you do not have a document, you can start with a portfolio name and currency instead.
Nothing is added to the portfolio until you confirm the setup. The institution, account and portfolio are then created together, and confirmed document data is imported into the new portfolio.
What it does not do
- It does not connect to a bank or broker, and it never asks for their credentials.
- It does not assume that extracted data is correct. You see the result before confirming it.
- It does not require you to define goals, a risk profile or an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) before entering the app. You can complete those later.
- It does not keep creating portfolios when setup is submitted twice; an existing portfolio is reused.
Known limits
- Extraction quality depends on the document. Scans, unfamiliar layouts and incomplete files may produce missing or uncertain rows.
- A failed file must be retried or replaced; onboarding does not repair the source document.
- Draft import batches are not saved as a separate resumable workspace.
- Institution and account details detected from a file still need your confirmation.
