Dividends

Review recorded dividend income, upcoming estimated payments, yield metrics and history by instrument for the selected portfolio.

What it does

The dividend workspace shows the selected portfolio's recorded dividend income. The overview includes total received, trailing yield, yield on cost and an estimated next-12-month amount when the required data is available.

The timeline separates historical payments from forecasts. The calendar lists estimated ex-dividend and payment dates for the next three months, amount per share, estimated payout, frequency and confidence. You can also open the history for one instrument at a time.

Historical payments are converted using payment-date exchange rates. If a required rate is missing, the aggregate is marked unavailable instead of mixing currencies or assuming a rate.

What it does not do

  • It does not guarantee that a forecast dividend will be declared, paid on the estimated date or paid at the estimated amount.
  • It does not place trades or recommend securities based on dividend yield.
  • It does not prepare a tax return or determine your personal tax treatment.
  • It does not treat a provider event as proof that cash reached your account; compare it with your transaction and broker records.

Known limits

  • Coverage depends on provider data and supported holdings. Stocks, ETFs and mutual funds need a usable ticker or provider symbol.
  • Some ex-dividend and payment dates are estimates; the current enrichment path can derive them with a fixed 14-day offset.
  • Forecasts are based on available history, frequency and growth assumptions. Irregular or special dividends are less predictable.
  • A missing exchange rate or unknown shares held makes the affected total unavailable and identifies the excluded event.
  • The calendar window is fixed at three months and cannot be changed. The next-12-month estimate covers a longer period than the calendar.
